Here’s to 150 years of the greatest country in the world (I might be a little biased). Canada is turning 150 years old this year and to celebrate I decided to create a red and white makeup look using Jaclyn Hill’s Morphe Palette. I’ve had this idea bouncing around in my head for awhile, and when I saw the gorgeous red colours (like Huntz, Jaks and Cranapple) in Jaclyn Hill’s palette, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to create a look that celebrates the true north. I actually love the way this look turned out and I think i’ll be using it a lot more once the fall months roll around. I’ve always been a little skeptical to play around with colour, but lately I’ve jumped into the deep end with reds, greens (check out my Anti Smokey but Natural makeup look featuring the same palette) and I realized just how fun playing around with colour could be. I used to reserve the bright hues for my lips, but now I think i’ll be creating some brighter looks on my eyes too. I hope you guys enjoy this video!
