Complete Guide to Cruelty Free Cosmetics Brands

With all the hype and excitement of purchasing and trying cosmetics, It completely slipped my mind to check if the brands I was using tested on animals or not. I feel really bad admitting this since animal safety has always been my first priority when it comes to cosmetics. I decided to do some research and compiled a list of some of my favourite high-end and drug store brands who do not test on animals and are completely cruelty free. I know that I’m going to stop purchasing cosmetics from brands that aren’t on this list and I hope you do too. many people believe that their one or two purchases won’t necessarily make a difference to a brand, but when that brands competitor gets higher sales for participating in cruelty free practices, it may influence others to stop testing on animals. Most brands will have a little photo of a bunny or a paw on their packaging to let you know they don’t practice animal testing. Anyway’s here is my list, by clicking on the name of each brand you will be redirected to a section on their site which explains their stance on cruelty free practices.

  1. Another company that DOES NOT test on animals is Melaleuca. They create makeup from organic, all natural products, as well as their other products. It is hard to find companies that do this and they do.

    1. I have read on other sites that Melaleuca do indeed test on animals. I would love to hear about it if you have a reliable source because I do love their products but have stopped shopping since I heard about animal testing
