Holiday Gift Guide Under $100 (For the Person who has Everything)

Remember when you were a kid and it felt like an eternity between Summer break and Christmas break? It literally felt like two whole years had passed between the two beloved times of year when you can sleep in and watch The Price is Right all day long without any judgement. Now it’s almost as if the holidays come within the blink of an eye; one second you’re basking in the glow of the summer sunshine, and the next you’re bundling up with your loved ones exchanging brown paper packages tied up with string, those are a few of my favourite things. We all know how hard it is to think of goodies for everyone on your shopping list, especially the ones that seem like they have everything they might need. So I’m here to answer the eternal question; what do you get the person that has everything? I’ve complied a list of some of my current favourites to give you some ideas and hopefully make your holiday shopping a little less stressful.holiday1

  1. The decor of your home is something extremely personal. The items displayed in your home are thoughtfully picked to represent your style and portray how you want to be presented to each person that comes into your home, so buying home decor for someone else can be slightly tricky unless you know them extremely well. I personally love these prints sold at Chapters/Indigo. They’re fun and come in all different styles and sayings. From personal messages to ambiguous photography, these prints (which run at about $30-$35 a piece) are the perfect gift for someone who may be embarking on a new journey in the new year or just need to fill some blank space on their walls. Each case comes with a gorgeous limited edition holiday palette (with festive names for each hue) and other essentials for eyes and cheeks including a mini Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. The best part of this kit is that it’s retail value stands at over $400 but is on foholiday2r $71 right now, thats probably the best deal you can ever get.Buy Tarte Palette
  3. Adult colouring books are probably the most therapeutic thing you will ever buy. I used to cherish my colouring books when I was a kid so when these adult versions came out earlier in the year at Chapters/Indigo, I couldn’t wait to try them out. Each book costs $20 and has up to 100 different intricate designs for your colouring pleasure. From florals to city scapes, the books offer a wide array for each style of artist. I personScreen Shot 2015-11-12 at 5.30.00 PMally got the Secret Garden one and can’t wait to go back for another one. I’ve even framed a couple of the pieces since they turned out so beautifully. 4. Have you ever tried Rose Salve? If not, you’re seriously missing out. I have had a tin of rose salve in my purse for the past 5 years at least. An ultra hydrating balm, rose salve can be used for lips, skin, cuticles and hair. You know those winter days when you look in the  mirror mid day and everything is chapped, dry, and sticking up in every direction? Rose salve can literally solve all those problems with a small amount of balm; It also smells amazing. This $16 rose bud tin set from Urban Outfitters contains strawberry, mint and of course the original rose scent. Buy Rose Salve

I personally love all of these items and I know you will too, until next time Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping 🙂
